Description
The issues concerning mechanical stability of the wire structure and associated with the use of different materials in the making of
a new drift chamber are discussed. The mechanical properties of aluminum cathode wire are investigated. The value of decline in wire
tension as a result of material creep are measured. Topic of fixing security of wires is studied in detail.
