Description

In this study we performed a differential proteomic analysis of the total E.coli soluble protein fraction after exposure to THz radiation. Glutamine synthase was one of the proteins overexpressed in response to THz radiation. We constructed the E.coli/pGlnA-GFP biosensor based on the promoter of the glnA gene and the GFP protein and demonstrated that it could detect THz radiation.
