Description

The vacuum system is an important and integral part of every modern scientific facility. The paper describes in detail the design and manufacturing of prototypes with coated non-evaporable getter (NEG) as main pumpdown for NSLS-II third generation synchrotron light source and for Coherent electron Cooling of eRHIC. TiZrV NEG sputtered film in the narrow extensive chambers is a vacuum technology for obtained ultra-high vacuum which is used in many particle accelerators worldwide. The experimental results of NEG film sticking probability for hydrogen are presented here.
