DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Anton Pavlenko (Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics
of Siberian Branch Russian Academy of Sciences (BINP SB RAS))\nThe RF Gun
operating at a frequency of 178.5 MHz is used to generate an electron beam
for Linac of the SKIF synchrotron. The RF Gun provides electron bunch ene
rgy up to 0.7 MeV and a charge up to 1 nK. The RF gun is a cavity at a fre
quency of 178.5 MHz with a built-in cathode-grid assembly that emits elect
rons when an unlocking pulse is applied.\nThe RF gun cathode-grid assembly
is controlled using a set of hardware and software. Hardware includes:\n
 •	Gun Timer module for precise synchronization and triggering of the RF
gun Modulator\;\n•	Modulator that controls the cathode-grid assembly\;\n
 •	controlled Power supply of the cathode-grid assembly and the Modulator
\; \n•	Phase meter with picosecond accuracy for measuring phase relation
ships between signals from RF gun parts.\nThe report describes the structu
re of the listed units\, the features of these devices and their parameter
s.\nSoftware instruments based on the TANGO platform provide setting and m
easurement of the cathode-grid assembly and the Modulator regimes\, adjust
the phase of the cathode unlocking pulses\, arrange the interacting with
the phase meter\, and prepare data that specify the filling of the Booster
separatrices. Software features listed in the report in the short form.\n
