Extra-dimensional extensions of the Standard Model generate a specific set of higher-dimensional interactions once the heavy Kaluza–Klein (KK) excitations of the gravitational sector are integrated out. In this work, we match a generic gravity-induced effective Lagrangian of KK type onto the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) and provide a systematic classification of the resulting effective operators of mass dimension eight. We also derive constraints on a relevant subset of Wilson coefficients, which are then projected on physical parametres of a few chosen phenomenological scenarios.
