Description

We have carried out studies regarding the spin oscillations of gravitationally scattered neutrinos off a black hole (BH). We employ the quasi-classical approach for the motion of the spinning particles in the curved spacetime of a rotating (Kerr) black hole. The BH surrounded by a realistic magnetized accretion disk. We consider the incoming neutrino beams traversing at a random angle with respect to the equatorial plane of the BH. We have considered the cases where the accretion disk is both co-rotating and counter-rotating with respect to the spin of the BH. A clear difference between the observed fluxes of scattered neutrinos for both types of the disks has been observed while the other conditions such as BH spin and incident angle remaining same. All our computations are performed at the Govorun supercomputer.
