Description

For many years, codes for numerical simulation of the beam dynamics have been developed at NRNU MEPhI for both travelling and standing wave electron linacs taking into account the own beam field. The BEAMDULAC-BL code was developed to simulate self-consistent beam dynamics taking into account both the quasi-static component of the space charge and the beam loading effect.
The methods of simulation of the beam dynamics with main harmonic beam loading have already been investigated earlier and implemented in the code [1-2]. This report considers methods of taking into account the current load in the polyharmonic approximation.
