Description
For the last few years the Laboratory of Electronic Accelerators MSU has been working on a 6 MeV electron accelerator for radiation therapy based on a C-band accelerating structure. The new developed structure has increased efficiency than original sample, provides lower accelerating field strength in comparison to it, and ensures stable operation with a dose rate of more than 10 Gy/min. The paper describes the accelerator and provides the measurements of bremsstrahlung characteristics.
