Description
The paper analyzes the results of measurements of the transverse dimensions and coordinates of the center of gravity of the electron beam of the KISI storage device obtained during injection and when working for users. The beam image recorded in the optical wavelength range using a digital camera at the Optical Observation Station (SON) of the KISI storage device was analyzed. With the help of specially created software, the camera frame rate was increased to 700 Hz, which made it possible to register the dynamics of the transverse beam profile injected into the CIS drive from the “Siberia-1” booster. The search for possible sources of transverse instability of the beam while working of installation for users is carried out.
