Description
JINR is developing a new MSC230 isochronous cyclotron for proton therapy. In this paper, the beam extraction from the accelerator using an electrostatic deflector and several magnetic correctors was discussed. In particular, two variants of beam extraction were compared: along the spirality of sectors and against it.
