Description

Taiwan Photon Source (TPS), a third-generation light source based on a 3-GeV storage ring, is featured with high brilliant insertion devices. Synchrotron radiation (SR) generated from undulators can cover both soft and hard X-ray energy spectra. Seven in-vacuum undulators and three elliptically polarized undulators (EPU) for hard and soft X-ray photon sources has been severed as Phase I experimental beamlines, respectively. Five insertion devices, includes two cryogenic permanent magnet undulators, two EPUs and one wiggler, is under construction for Phase II beamlines. This report describes the latest status of the Phase II insertion devices.
